The Institutional Research and Academic Career Development Award is an NIH/NIGMS-sponsored program designed to provide three years of mentored, post-doctoral research in biomedical sciences and teaching training. Advancing Cancer Careers for ExceLlence (ACCEL) Program

San Diego State University’s Advancing Cancer Careers for ExceLlence (ACCEL) Program, in collaboration with UCSD Moores Cancer Center, supports SDSU postdoctoral fellows and graduate students annually in cancer research. The program aims to enhance diversity and inclusion by expanding the pipeline for underrepresented scholars and broadening support for pre- and postdoctoral researchers. The ACCEL program offers a comprehensive range of resources, including mentorship, workshops, and opportunities for networking with fellow cancer researchers. You can sign up for ACCEL here.
